Grandparent Approved was conceived and developed by a group of contemporaries. All of them grandparents. All of them concerned with the well-being of their grandchildren in a commercial environment which seems to be straying from core family values; any books, games, and other toys have become increasingly violent and/or risque, and/or riddled with pejorative images.
The Grandparent Approved panel is now in the process of reviewing books, games and other toys for suitability for children.
When you see the "Grandparent Approved" seal, you can be sure that the product that bears it has been judged as appropriate for youngsters; specifically, there is no violence or scary stuff... just a fun time for all.
